baby play mat

Today I went to meet my beautiful friend’s new little bubby. Bri has been my friend for years, and we have grown up together and 2 weeks ago, she gave birth to gorgeous little cooper. he is just the most perfect baby…so amazingly cute! I had the best cuddles with him today!

so…i thought I should make something like a little gift to take on my visit…a padded play mat with his name appliquéd on it.


it was so simple to make. I just picked up some material from the local op shop and covered some wadding with it. I then finished it off with this gorgeous striped bias binding.

hopefully, he has lots of fun plays on this little mat!
