Super Easy Margherita Pizza

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp.
cornmeal
- 1
recipe Thin Crust Pizza Dough
- 1 c.
tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 c.
sliced fresh mozzarella
- 5
fresh basil leaves, torn
Directions
- Step 1Heat oven to 500°F. Sprinkle cornmeal over pizza peel or 2 baking pans.
- Step 2Divide dough in half; shape into 2 balls. Roll dough on a floured surface using a floured rolling pin to 12-inch rounds and transfer to the prepared pans.
- Step 3Spread with tomato sauce and top with mozzarella. Bake until crust is golden and crisp, about 15 minutes. Scatter with basil leaves and serve.
Save time: You can also buy fresh or frozen dough at the grocery store. If you buy frozen, thaw in the refrigerator overnight and remove 30 minutes before rolling.
