MATERIALS:

  • 4" x 2" papier-mâché cones ($2.99 for 6; joann.com)
  • Thick orange twine
  • Hot-glue gun
  • Green crepe paper
  • Scissors

STEPS:

1. Starting at the point of the papier-mâché cone, use hot glue to cover with orange twine.

2. Cut a 7" x 11" crepe paper rectangle (note: the crepe grain should run with the 7" side) and glue the long side around the inside of the cone. Use scissors to trim the crepe paper into 12 leaf shapes.

3. Fill the carrot with candy, then tie the leaves together with a 1" x 10" strip of crepe and trim each end into a point to match the leaves.
