 Wow! Is what I said when I saw these, and I think you will, too. This is one of the best DIY Easter ideas I have ever seen. Cute homemade Easter decorations made from yarn in the shape of eggs, this craft is simply adorable.A fun weekend project  that is fun for kids and adults alike to make, the eggs are super easy and pretty much fail proof. You just need some homemade glue , water balloons and embroidery thread or yarn. Fill a basket with these colorful, crafty eggs and use it as a table centerpiece, or make a bunch and craft an Easter wreath to decorate your front door.

What you need:

  • Liquid Starch- 1 cup
  • Flour- 1/2 cup
  • Embroidery Thread
  • Water Balloons

Step 1

Make the hardening solution. Mix water, half a cup of flour and 1 cup of liquid Starch in a Bowl.

Step 2

Once the solution  is done, Transfer it on a disposable container that you can work with.

Step 3

Add the string to your mixture by coiling it around the edge of the container.

 

Step 4

Blow up some egg shaped water balloons.

 

Step 5

Wrap the string that you soak in the mixture to the balloon

1 pack of string is just about perfect for one egg, but you can always add more to make it denser.

Step 6

Hang and let it dry.

Once dried, Pop the Balloon inside.
