Here’s a simple Nerf game that you can put together in 5 minutes from stuff in the recycling bin!
I recycled the cardboard box from our Pumpkin Patch Counting game and made this fun Nerf target. Shoot the balls and make them fly off the cardboard tubes!
We used our lightweight plastic ball pit balls for this game. They are lightweight, so they don’t damage anything!
To make the game, I cut paper towel rolls into sections of different sizes. I added point values to the tubes with index cards and tape, but you don’t even necessarily need that step. I will say, though, that the boys have been counting their points, which is good addition practice for Owen!
I used hot glue to attach the paper rolls to the box.
Great project for a rainy day!

My 11 yr old grandson saw this and immediately went to work on one! He spend an hour painting and making it colorful. Then his 4 & 8 yr old sisters played with him all afternoon. This was also great practice for them to work on double digit addition! Thanks for the awesome idea!
