Spring-summer season is right around the corner -or that’s what chileans say- so I dusted off my sunnies and decided to do this sunglass holder DIY to keep them, but that could also work as room decor. I decided to make this holder/display after seeing a lot of different type of holders in pinterest and amazon, and though it’s not as safe as a boxed one, I really like how it looks on my room.divisionLa primavera-verano está a la vuelta de la esquina -o eso es lo que los chilenos dicen- así que desempolvé mis lentes de sol y decidí hacer un colgador para mis lentes, que también funciona como decoración.

Let’s get started. It’s really simple, you just need: A photo frame of your choice, hot glue, paint (if needed) and rope or wire to hang the glasses. // Comencemos.

zIMG_0409 copyLOW[ezcol_1half]First, remove the glass, paper and just take the actual frame. If you think it’s necessary you can paint it, I painted with white to make it match my room, but you can choose whatever color you like. Then using the glass or paper that came with the frame you have to measure how many sunglasses you will fit and use it as a guide to cut your rope or wire.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Primero, tienes que quitar el vidrio y el papel y solo tomar la estructura. Then, once your frame is completely dry you have to glue your cords with the silicone. I actually made braids for each row to make my cord stronger and as you can see I was still using the glasses as a guide. You can secure your cord with more hot glue on top or a little nail. Try to place it as straight as you can and also as tense as you can, so that way the glasses won’t hang too much.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Luego, ya que tu marco esté completamente seco, tienes que pegar las cuerdas con silicón.

And there you go, a nice way to hold/display your sunnies that will do a cool room decor function. Now the problem is that I want to buy more glasses because they just look so pretty hanging in there!divisionY así de fácil ya tienes una forma súper linda para guardar y mostrar tus lentes, que es también una linda decoración para tu cuarto.
