“This recipe brings back such fond memories of my Grandma Witte. Growing up with my 8 siblings next door to my grandparents was special in itself. The smell of Christmas cookies baking in the oven from Grandma’s kitchen made it extra special—you knew Christmas time was near. Over the generations Grandma’s Novel Cookie Bars are still being enjoyed by her great-great-great grandchildren.” – Anne Niezer, Sample Maker
