doily bunting

each time i go to an op shop, i can’t leave without checking out the doilies. i have picked up so many unique handmade vintage doilies that are just beautiful. i love sewing them to a shirt or bag, or simply placing on a little table. i’m always looking for ideas for where i can use doilies, and i thought that i could use them to make some bunting!
this would be perfect to use as a decoration for a tea party, or to dress up a little girl’s room.




it’s so easy to make…just cut your favourite doilies in half and encase them in herringbone tape folded in half. Sew along the length, and it’s all done!
