Milky Way Cake Recipe from Beaches & Cream (Disney’s Beach Club Resort)
*makes 1 bundt cake

Ingredients:

5 full-size Milky Way Candy Bars, unwrapped and cut into chunks
2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups sugar
4 eggs, separated
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1  1/4 cups buttermilk
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup chopped pecans
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325-degrees.

In a small pot, melt the Milky Way Candy Bars with 1 stick of butter over low heat. Set aside.

Cream sugar and remaining stick of butter with an electric mixer until crumbly. Add the melted candy mixture and blend well on medium speed. Add egg yolks and mix.

In a small bowl, dissolve baking soda in buttermilk then add to the candy mixture. Slowly add the flour, blending well. Stir in chopped pecans.

In another mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold into the candy/flour mixture with a spatula.

Spray a bundt pan with non-stick cooking spray. Pour batter into the prepared bundt pan and bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cake is ready when inserted toothpick or butterknife comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool. Place on cake serving platter.

Melt the chocolate morsels on top of stove in a double-boiler or in the microwave, cooking on low for 30 second increments. Stir well after each 30 seconds until melted. Pour over the top of cooled bundt cake. Enjoy!
