Disney Halloween Cupcakes: Jack Skellington Recipe

Jack Skellington Cupcakes

*makes 24 cupcakes

Ingredients:

  • 24 cupcakes (made from cake mix or your own recipe)
  • 2 cups white frosting (pre-made store bought or click HERE to be taken to my Buttercream Icing Recipe)
  • 2 tubes black gel icing
  • toothpicks

Directions:

Bake cupcakes according to package or recipe directions. Let cool completely. When cool, frost smoothly with prepared white frosting.    Print out images of Jack Skellington from online or use the samples shown below. Using a toothpick draw the eyes, nose and mouth on each cupcake copying the printed pictures. Clean your toothpick occasionally on a paper towel.   After you have traced Jack’s face, it’s time to fill in with the black gel icing. First, take a pin or other sharp tool and poke a hole into the tip of the icing tube so that you will have a fine opening. Now carefully squeeze the black gel icing over the mouth and nose lines you made with the toothpick. Trace the eyes and fill in. Repeat for all cupcakes.   Enjoy these while watching Disney’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas”.   Happy Hauntings!!
