Pinocchio’s Village Haus: Figaro Fries Recipe

Figaro Fries was a well-known and extremely popular snack offered at Pinocchio Village Haus in Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Sadly, they have been discontinued. 🙁 But now you can enjoy them at home following this easy recipe!

Pinocchio Village Haus: Figaro Fries

*serves 2

Ingredients:

• 4 slices bacon, cooked until crispy, then crumbled
• 2 – 3 handfuls of shoestring french fries, frozen
• vegetable oil, for frying
• 1/2 cup of prepared cheese sauce, jarred or canned
• 2 tablespoons milk
• 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
• 1 cup shredded lettuce
• Ranch dressing, to your liking
• salt, for the fries

Directions:

Pour vegetable oil into a pan until 1-inch deep. Cook fries in hot oil until time indicated on package. While fries are cooking, heat 1/2 cup of cheese sauce in saucepan with 2 tablespoons milk. Stir continuously until smooth. Set aside.    When fries are finished cooking, place on a plate lined with paper towels to drain. Salt to taste. Divide fries into two serving bowls and cover with melted cheese sauce. Top with a layer of shredded lettuce. Drizzle Ranch dressing on top and finish off with crumbled bacon and diced tomatoes.
